How can I earn Skywards Miles with Emirates?
As a Skywards member, the number of Skywards Miles you earn when flying Emirates is based on the route you fly, the type of fare you purchase and your class of travel. In addition, you can also earn bonus Skywards Miles through our unique Miles Accelerator. The route you fly
The Miles you earn are based on the route you fly between easy to identify geographic zones and will be credited to your account on reaching your destination. For example if you have purchased a return fare from London to Sydney via Dubai, you will receive Miles for your outbound journey on arrival in Sydney and Miles for your inbound journey when you return to London.
The fare you purchase
All fares flown on Emirates are categorised into two types - Skywards Saver and Skywards Flex.
A Skywards Saver fare is any Emirates fare with either:
(a) eligibility restrictions [such as students; seniors; companions; packaged holidays; groups], or
(b) a limited sales period ["must purchase by" date]
All fares sold by other airlines, partly flown on Emirates, also fall into this category.
Skywards Flex fares are those with no eligibility restrictions and are generally available for purchase all year round.
Purchase a Skywards Flex Fare, and you will earn 100% of base Miles. Choose a Skywards Saver Fare, and you will earn 50% of base Miles.

The class you travel in
You will earn 150% bonus Miles whenever you fly Emirates First Class, and 75% bonus Miles when flying Business Class.
The flights you choose
Take advantage of our unique Miles Accelerator which offers you valuable flight-specific bonuses throughout the year. You will earn these bonuses in addition to any other Miles you earn, irrespective of the fare you purchase or where you buy your ticket.
Once you reach Silver and Gold status, you will also earn bonus Skywards Miles whenever you fly with Emirates - an additional 25% for Silver members, and 50% for Gold.
